Monique Eversley Buchanan, MBA
Founder, CEO & Principal Strategist
Monique Eversley Buchanan is a seasoned strategist and trusted advisor with more than 15 years of experience supporting organizations through strategic initiatives, event management, nonprofit management, project coordination, and relationship-centered solutions.
She founded YHD Enterprises to provide organizations with the clarity, structure, and strategic support needed to move important work forward.
Her leadership approach brings together strategic thinking, thoughtful coordination, strong relationships, and a commitment to excellence from planning through implementation.
Corporate and Institutional Experience
Monique’s experience includes serving as Program Manager of the Scientific Achievement Awards Program at the American Association for Cancer Research, where she managed the full lifecycle of a portfolio recognizing approximately 18 distinguished scientists annually. Her responsibilities included marketing award opportunities to the scientific community, managing nominations and selection committees, coordinating scientific review processes, supporting relationships with funders and honorees, and overseeing recipient communications, award lectures, scripts, ceremonies, and gala production. This experience continues to strengthen YHD’s work with scientific, medical, clinical, nonprofit, and professional organizations requiring precision, stakeholder coordination, and high-level program execution.
